Resurrection of the Heart - Notes
No lyrics here—just a party tune. After university, my wife and I settled in a small town with deep Scottish roots, home to the largest Scottish Festival in the world outside of Scotland. Pretty cool. We dove into the culture, and of course the festival tent, where we discovered bands and sounds we’d never experienced before. Who knew bagpipes could be cool—and that you could actually rock out to them!? We knew, and now you do too.
I drew inspiration from those traditional Scottish tunes, experimenting on the keyboard with organ and bagpipe voices, then layering the same riffs through distorted guitars before applying the now-familiar Meat Thunderstick persona. A little cut, paste, mixing, and some AI polish later—and there it was: a perfectly good track for your festival tent… or even your kitchen ceilidh. 😊
